Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Step Down Unit experience within the past 3 years.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Floating between facilities may be required between San Diego & San Diego Zion. May be asked to float to lower acuities.

No block scheduling.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac Rhythm Recognition

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Cert: ACLS, BLS - AHA, American Red Cross, Canadian Heart and Stroke, Military Training Network only. Cert: NIH - Must be AHA or National Stroke Association.
