Will consider 36 or 48 hour contracts
EKG exam required
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred skills: Vent, Sedation, Pressors; Neuro Background; (Impellas, CRRT, cardiac surgery preferred)
Patient Population: Sepsis, CVA, PNA, ARDS, Resp Failure, HF, Renal Failure, Overdose, CIWA
Floating: ICU nurses may float to stepdown units that take bipap and low dose vasopressors. They do not float to a med/surg floor.
Ratio*: 1/2 (May go up to 3 if Stepdown patients on unit)
All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing
RN-BC Registered Nurse - Board Certified (preferred)
Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)
Work Experience 1 year of RN experience (required)
6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
Critical Care Course (preferred)
