Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Transplant Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

RN - Liver Transplant - Required

Block Schedules: Yes

Required Experience: 2 years with at least 1 year clinic experience

Skills Required: Clinic or acute inpatient MS experience

RN with basic MS skills is acceptable

May come into contact with Covid Patients

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Return Staff Policy: If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler
