Preferred 24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of CVPICU or PICU exp required- Hard stop requirement: 2 years experience in a pediatric hospital. IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line management, Respiratory, Assist/maintain chest tube, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Cardiovascular, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Renal /Genitourinary, Medications/Emergency Medications, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Infectious Disease, Isolation Precautions, and Work Settings, PICU.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefers close to 2 year's experience. Starting and maintaining IVs*, Congenital Heart Disease/Repair*, ECMO*, Post Cardiac catheterization*, Post cardiac surgery*, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Pediatric CVICU*.

Shift & Scheduling: Option of 36s or 48s. Weekend Coverage: Every Other.

Floating Requirements: Float Required: Yes. PCU, NICU, PICU. Floating is a requirement for most positions and a point of emphasis for Nationwide, travelers must be prepared to float to different units depending on the assignment.
