Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted), Call Requirements: None

Float Requirement: Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, IMC

Equipment Use on Unit: Chest Tubes, Vac Dressings

Skills Required: Surgical/Trauma ICU

Skills Preferred: Trauma and Surgical experience preferred

Types of Patients: Post-op, Vascular Surgery, Abdominal Surgery
