Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other. Voluntary call. Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy

Required Skills/Experience: Cerner or EPIC (EMR) experience. Two years in a level 3 NICU.

  • Adult: general and critical care
  • NICU: Ground transports, Nitric Oxide administration, transport experience preferred
  • Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU

Types of Patients on Unit: NICU

Equipment Used on Unit:

  • Medication dispensing: Omnicell
  • Monitors: Spacelabs
  • Ventilators: PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo
  • Oscillator (3100A)

Unit/Facility Details: 36 beds. Typically 18-20 patients.

Special Requests: Travelers who are new to the facility or return travelers who have been gone for 1+ years will have 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit. Rehires: orientation will depend on last date here.

Floating Requirements: Any like unit/patient location. NICU therapists will also work with adults
