Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

CPI (Preferred)

NIHSS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

6N is a MS unit that primary serves patients with specialties in ENT, plastics, CF, gen surgery and med surg. Located in a Level 1 trauma facility, 6N sees a wide variety of interesting cases.

Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Floating to all units to care for MS patients

Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes

RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be submitted with application. Additional RTO after signing at manager discretion

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs per week guaranteed.

Parking: No fee, on site

Scrubs: navy

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 24

Travelers must be clean shaven for FIT testing. Please ensure all travelers are aware of this prior to submittal.

All clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler. A 6 month break must be taken in order to return as a traveler
