Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Block Schedules: No

On Call/Weekend Requirements: No on call requirement, weekend included in rotation

Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Address must match DL when determining local status

Hard Stop: At least 2 yrs specialty exp required

Tele and IV start required

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses: 7 west is a procedural recovery unit that provides boarding for 8 patients each night. These patients are generally 23 hour observation patients that are discharged the next day. They are mostly med surg patients, but can be up to IMC levels of care.

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
