Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with CPSI is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

PALS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (could be more often as needed)

Holidays: Rotate in with the permanent staff.

Any color scrubs are acceptable as long as they are appropriate and professional.

Strong IV skills preferred.

Might be required to mix meds if new medication is ordered after hours.

Float: Yes within facility dependent on position and qualifications

Orientation: 1 shift with a preceptor

Types of Patients: CHF, COPD, pneumonia, cardiac arrhythmias, sepsis. Most surgical patients transfer out. They only have a surgeon 2 days a week.
