Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Prior travel OR acute psych experience in large teaching facility required.

Required Credentials: Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained.

This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit.

CPI, ProAct, or MOAB.

Unit/Facility Details: Psych RN to work in the ED. Position is strictly Psych.

Acute and chronic psych patients, range in age from pediatric to geriatric.

Criteria for admission to psych units include, but are not limited to, danger to self or others.

Patients may require medical intervention along with their psych symptoms.

Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; please ensure you have reliable transportation.

Personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended.

Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November – April.

Shift & Scheduling: Assignment for 16-32 weeks.

A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Monday to Sunday schedule.
