Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

No Block Scheduling.

Must have:

  • Critical Care training

Preferred or nice to have:

  • Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery or Recovery Room care

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

  • IABP
  • IMPELLA
  • Hemodynamics
  • Frequent ambulation of patients
  • Pulling Chest TUBES
  • Pulling Pacer wires
  • LVADS care (supported by team)
  • Intubation/Extubation

Floating Area(s):

  • All ICUS and Stepdown
  • Where needed to other units also

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - navy blue or white scrubs, nursing shoes, hair off shoulder, no fake nails.

Weekends and On call(if any): Every other
