Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

CCRN (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Required Experience: Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions. Critical care training.

Preferred Experience: Cardiac Surgery or Recovery Room care

Procedures Performed on Unit: IABP, IMPELLA, Hemodynamics, Frequent ambulation of patients, Pulling Chest TUBES, Pulling Pacer wires, LVADS care (supported by team), Intubation/Extubation

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Floating Requirements: All ICUS and Stepdown

Shift & Schedule: Every other weekend
