Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: General surgery experience. Robotic experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience, Transplant experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: General/GYN/Uro surgery – open & robotic, Ortho (no spine), Plastics, Pedi general & pedi ortho

Equipment Used on Unit: DaVinci Robot, Trumpf bed, Mako Robot, Rosa Robot, Ligasure, Erbe, Novasure, Myosure, Truclear, Neptune, Harmonic, Force Triad, FT10, Storz Video, Ortho equipment/beds, Drills

Unit/Facility Details: 30 ORs + 3 Litho Suites

Shift & Scheduling: On call is required. Facility requires a Tuesday start. 3 call teams: Neuro, Transplant, or General – # shifts depends on which team hired into. Call required unless working weekend or night shift. Must help with holiday coverage (OR closed) if it falls during contract: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years
