Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience
• Need to be able to circulate and transition babies as well as labor.
• IV therapy/Phlebotomy, administration of blood and blood products, drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, use of infusion pumps, drips, and IV monitoring, antepartum, labor and delivery, LDRP, antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), terbutaline, APGAR scores, baby nurse (“baby catcher”), ID/security banding, radiant warmers and thermoregulation, assist with high-risk delivery, assist with vaginal delivery, circulate for C-section, recover C-section, sterile vaginal exam, assist with sterile speculum exam, NST (non-stress tests), reflex checks, edema assessment, clonus, triage of obstetrical patients, use of EFM (external fetal heart monitoring), breastfeeding and lactation support, Foley catheter insertion and management, fundus, lochia, and perineum care, postpartum care of patients with cesarean section, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, vaginal delivery, epidural anesthesia, general anesthesia, pain assessment and management, use of PCA (IV), infant identification, isolation precautions and PPE, vaccine administration, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, use of external fetal monitoring, use of internal fetal monitoring, use of IUPC placement and calibration.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Facility births per month 200–300, high-risk antepartum, insulin drips, forceps or vacuum extraction, hemorrhage and shock management, telemetry interpretation.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, expect to work some holidays. Must work one holiday (eve and day)

Shift & Scheduling:

• Will consider a minimum of 13 weeks
• Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Variable

Floating Requirements: RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, transition (no post-partum)
