Unit Details: RN Navigator works in the Chemo/Oncology department as an advocate for the families. Working on genetics, survivorship exc. The oncology nurse navigator works in the outpatient setting and provides cancer genetics risk screening and referral for testing; functions as the cancer survivorship coordinator and provides navigation clinical support and supervisory oversight to the oncology navigation social service worker.

Required Skills/Experience: Needs previous oncology experience

• Patient Age Groups: Adults

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

• Patient Diagnoses: Oncology Patients all disease sites Oncology Patients with a cancer diagnosis or high risk for cancer undergoing genetics testing.
