Outpatient Physical Therapist

Shift & Scheduling: M-F- 8 OR 10 hour shifts, Either is fine. Generally 8-5 shifts; may have an early day start at 7am or late 6 pm if 10 hour days. No on call. No weekends or OT. Every other holiday.

Types of Patients on Unit: Orthopedic patients, postoperative joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, mild neurological conditions, geriatric

Unit/Facility Details: For eight hour shift looking at 10–12 patients a day. Very normal to other outpatient facilities.

Equipment Used on Unit: Transfer equipment (Sara Steady, Hoyer)

Required Credentials: Minimum Education: 4yr Bachelor’s Degree Physical Therapy Graduate of accredited program in Physical Therapy with minimum of Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Credentials: Graduate of accredited program in Physical Therapy with Doctorate level degree preferred. Certification in a specialty area, for example: OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health, etc. preferred
