Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Emergency Department experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Pediatrics: Abdominal pain, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Urinary tract infections. IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions Work Settings: Non Trauma Emergency Department, Stroke Certified Facility

Preferred Skills/Experience: Respiratory: CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) Medications: Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors Work Settings: General Emergency Department – Combined Adult/Pedi, Level I Trauma Center, Level II Trauma Center

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be required to float between ICC and ED units as needed
