Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Skills/Experience: Must have completed 3-4 travel assignments

Skills: Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ER Holding, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips

Preferred Skills/Experience: Accessing/Managing Ports, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Telemetry (specialized unit), Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, and Titrate Vasoactive drips

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, No call required

Floating Requirements: This is a float position and can be floated to an inpatient PCU unit. RN must have PCU exp. May be asked to float to a MedSurg

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
