12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Additional Details:

No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Halloween Weekend: 10/30 - 11/3 Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30 Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1

Required Skills/Experience:

First-time traveler: Yes, with at least 2 years’ experience & Cerner or EPIC experience, and Level II Trauma or higher experience.

Experienced Travelers: At least 2 years of critical care experience (ICU or ER) with the most recent year in a Level II ER with Cerner or EPIC experience.

Skills required: Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, picc, midline, port, foley, splint/Ortho device application and care, bipap/hiflow, continuous bladder irrigation

Types of Patients on Unit: Multi System Trauma (level II), STEMI, STROKE, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatric

Unit/Facility Details:

Number of Beds: 71 (very high acuity Level II, functions as a Level I)

Patient Ratios: 1/4 ER, 1/5 MS Holds, 1/3 ICU Holds

Special Requests:

Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48 hours available, 3:00 PM start

Schedule cycle: 4 weeks

Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule
