Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Skill required: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias. Work Settings: Telemetry

Required Credentials: **Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Special Requests: Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests. RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Amount of RTO: Please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract - highly preferred. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks per contract. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Blocking will be at the discretion of unit leaders. Weekend Coverage: Every Other.
