Requirements

Experience

11 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Centricity is preferred from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Patient Ratio: Laboring - 1/1-2, APU - 1/2, PACU - 1/2

Preferred Skill / Experience:

OR Circulation for Cesarean Sections

Placement of FSE and IUPC

Equipment Used on Unit: Hill-Rom birthing beds, Alaris IV pump, GE core metrics FM, Panda warmer, CADD Solis epidural pumps, NOVI wireless FM

Technology Used on Unit: CPN (centricity)

Unit Details: Number of Beds -35 13 Bed Maternal Assessment Center for Triage of the Pregnant Patients

24/7 Ancillary Services including: Anesthesia, Neonatal, Laborist, and Hospitalist
