Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injuries, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains.

**Preferred Skills/Experience:**Surgical Intensive Care Unit Experience, Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience, Trauma Level I Experience

Skills: Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, IV insulin protocols.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required; Must work holidays rotation

Floating Requirements: MS nurses will float to PCU but will take MS patients, Will also float to rehab units.
