Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Unit Details: Number of Beds 24 Daily Census 24

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Various critical care diagnoses, larger volumes of neurological and cardiac conditions

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Rapid Response teams, Code 33 response teams

Equipment Used on Unit: IABP, PA catheters, arterial lines, central lines. CRRT in future.
