Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required from the last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions. Vein harvesting is required. Open Heart and Vascular experience. Must to be able to endoscopic vein harvesting. Cardiac surgical experience in the FA capacity (Vascular only does NOT count – experience must include acting as a FA in on-pump cardiac cases.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatrics

Shift & Scheduling: Plus call. The call requirement will vary depending on if they have vein harvesting skills or not.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Cardiac - CABG, AVR, MVR, Pericardial window, Aortic dissections, congenital peds, etc. Vascular – Fem pop, AAA, AV Fistula, etc.
