Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of Respiratory Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Every other weekend

NICU or Adult ICU position- prefer Adult skillset

Treatments per day points system- 28 procedures for 8 hours

For Neonatal, NRP is required.

RT will either be working with Adults or NICU patients not both.

Adult cares for ER, MS Tele, ICU or Neonatal L2 NICU + deliveries, and newborn

What areas do they cover: Inpatient and ED

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Either do ICU cares for adults or Neonatal L2 NICU + deliveries. 1 year of ADULT ICU or NICU experience.

Job Duties: ABGs- draw and analyze, breathing Tx, bronchopulmonary hygiene therapies (opep, vest therapy, etc) BiPAP, CPAP, vents, etc.

Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Only assist physician

7-7 manager to make a schedule, core staff in patterns but travelers to fill in gaps

Weekend Requirements at least every other weekend- higher needs

Holiday Requirements yes, if falls within contracted time frame

Call or standby call requirement? Available to pick up if interested, and OT available and can support all campuses as well. (not hard to find)

What is call response time 30 minutes

Floating Requirements Can float to Meridian or Boise; travelers are not the first to float rotated with core staff
