Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Vascular Access Team experience.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

IV Therapy Vascular Access Team

Required Skills/Experience: IV infusion/therapy experience required

IV Therapy/ Infusions, Starting and maintaining IVs, Biotherapy, Chemotherapy, Oncologic Emergencies, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Care coordination, Telephone Triage, Work Settings, Infusion Center, Psychosocial Care, Patient/Family education and support, Additional Skills

Preferred Skills/Experience: Rheumatology experienced preferred

Accessing/Managing Ports, Central line blood draw, Infusion pump management, Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Cytotoxic Therapy, Recognize/manage side effects, Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Inpatient oncology, Outpatient oncology, Rheumatology experience

Shift & Scheduling: Shifts Vary open 7am to 5pm
