Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Long Term Care experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nevada license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Nights, Mid-Shift and Day (Rotating)

Sunday Night, and then possibly a run of either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night shifts. We also need Tuesday / Wednesday Day shift but Sunday night is the big need

Holiday Coverage: Yes

No Call

Required Skills / Experience: Works with intravenous medications and administer all routes of medications per Nevada State Board of Nursing criteria.

Required Credentials: Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse Program

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit: Medication administration, care management and gives direct patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and assisting in examinations and treatments.

Ability to lift, walk, carry and stand.

Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

Others: Performs total patient care services as directed. Measures, evaluates, administers and documents patient care.
