Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Start Date: 9/22 or 10/6

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

Holiday Requirements: Required based on unit needs

On-call Requirements: None

Float Requirement: Will float to all acute care units

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with TR Band's straight from procedure, experience with Cardiac Drips (Olathe mainly does, Heparin some Butamax, Lasix and Cardizem) and has experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol iniation process

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2-5 years of Telemetry experience

Orientation Requirements: THP will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, Day 3- Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training on, Day 4- Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5- virtual Epic training if they are unable to test out
