Additional Details:
During the first week, travelers are expected to work 5x8 hour shifts (Mon-Fri) to complete orientation. If additional orientation is required after the 1st week, traveler will then orient as necessary at 12-hour shifts.
The facility will consider 4x10s.
Floating information - If Cardiac volume is down may need to work in other services in the OR, this could be General, Urology, ENT, etc (average floating to main OR: once a week on average, could be more as CVOR volume fluctuates).
Weekend requirement: On call.
On Call Requirements: 4 call shifts per 13-week contract, days and hours vary.
No holiday requirement.
Experience Required: Traveler needs to be able to scrub and circulate. Cardiac surgery.
Cardiac surgery experience required: CABGs, Aortic/ Mitral Valves repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs.
Experience with Vascular/Thoracic (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, open AAA) surgery preferred.
First time travelers are accepted with appropriate experience.
Scrubs are provided.
RTO: Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance in a timely manner for the proposed start date. Block Scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Interview Availability – Please provide a range of 3-5 days for potential interview times (travelers with provided interview times will be prioritized)
