Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

PALS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), CVP, A-Line care/blood draws

Insulin gtts, Cardiac gtts

Nursing must read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge RN experience

Required Credentials: Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Travel pairs are allowed to work the same weekend generally

Special Requests: Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, No call, Holiday required

Floating Requirements: May float to Med Surg to take a patient assignment (ratio 1/5 days & 1/6 nights)

May float to ED to task/as helping hands
