Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience.

Unit/Facility Details: Centra is a teaching hospital and you will work and encounter students and new hires often.

Special Requests: -Unit will not approve any Christmas holiday RTO! All requested time off must be included in the packet at the time of submission. -Must be able to work 2 of 3 winter holidays.

Shift & Scheduling: -Starts 1/12 and 1/26 -36 or 48 hour contracts are available. -13 -16 week assignments are available. -Will consider weekend only requests. -Assignments end on Saturday. -Unit tries to follow 2/3 weekends a month but cannot always do this based on unit needs. -With limited RTO

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
