Requirements
Experience
Acute care experience is required.
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Oregon license

BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have skills: Cardiac and respiratory.
  • RNs required to titrate drips - minimal: Cardizem, heparin, amiodarone.
  • RNs read strips.

Unit and facility details: Ratios 1:3 (max 1:4 if medical overflow).

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend and 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
  • Placed on call for low census only with expected maximum response time of 45 minutes if called in.

Floating Requirements: Floats first to ICU or Med/Surg.
