Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts), within 48 hours of offer. If traveler fails, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months for CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions

Required Credentials:

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

4 weekend shifts per sched (Sat/Sun)

Floating Requirements:

Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units

Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway)

Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses.

Floating to different units mid-shift can happen

Will float to: Tele B3A, Tele Neuro, Medical-Surgical C5, Medical-Surgical B2C

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
