Required Skills/Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, Demonstrated IV Skills and ability to perform lab draws, Demonstrated knowledge of high risk medication administration (Magnesium/Oxytocin/Insulin), Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing, Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing, Demonstrated knowledge of IStat, Demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring, Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn, Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance, Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights, Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers, Demonstrated knowledge to support gyn teaching & post-operative bladder training, Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching

Preferred Skills/Experience: Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience. Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience. Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.

Required Credentials:

Preferred Credentials: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.

Unit/Facility Details:

Special Requests: No holiday weekend time off will be accepted. Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks.

Shift & Scheduling:

Floating Requirements: Floating between facilities may be expected between Manteca & Modesto or Riverside & Moreno Valley.
