IV Therapy/ Infusions: IV Therapy/ Infusions, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs

Biotherapy: Biotherapy

Chemotherapy: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values

Symptom Management: Symptom management

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience

Biotherapy: Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects

Symptom Management: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy

Psychosocial Care: Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment

Work Settings: Inpatient oncology

Care of Patient With: Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma

Unit / Facility Details: Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Proof of identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: Will work every other weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests
