Requirements

Experience

6 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

60 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Required Credentials: ICU skills checklist.

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care/ICU level experience required, Experience with vents and vasoactive gtts, sedative gtts. Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months - three (3) years. Management Experience of zero (0) - three (3) years. Five plus (5) + years of direct experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

Required Credentials: Unit-specific requirements are listed in the Compliance Matrix - please validate prior to candidate submission.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Professional certification in a related nursing specialty. Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
