All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
On-call required: Yes, max once per pay period.
Weekends required: Yes, Weekend rotation every third to every other weekend.
Float requirements: RN will cover all areas of OB including newborn care. Just to help out with skills when no patients on L&D, answer phones, IV starts, no patient assignments in other areas. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility.
Block schedules required: No
Certification: CLC preferred
BLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
NRP: Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults
Patient Diagnoses: PIH, NAS
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Wireless fetal monitoring, JADA device for PPH
Scrub Color: Any Color; OR Provided
Parking Cost: No Fee
Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler.
References Required: 2 Supervisory References covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) within last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.
