RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)
On call and weekends are required.
Block schedules not required.
Must have postpartum and labor experience.
Special requirements: Labor and delivery, Postpartum or NICU
Required Certifications: AWHONN Beginner
BLS & ACLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
NRP: Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
Community Hospital Experience: Required
Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler.
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. This can include Charge RNs and Leads.
Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start.
