Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Additional Details:

RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.

Weekend Requirement: As needed (likely EOW)

Holiday Requirement: Holiday Rotation

Call Requirement: N/A

Floating Requirement: As needed; May be asked to float to rehab if needed.

Preferred skills/experiences: Previous Charge experience, Teaching Hospital experience, and Community Hospital experience.

This unit serves patients with all acute care needs including but not limited to Cardiac, GI, Infectious disease, Fractures, Wound Care, Respiratory, and limited behavioral health. We have a combination of medical and surgical patients. Staff must complete telemetry training and maintain competency in reading ECG and administering cardiac drips.

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Could care for COVID patients.
