12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Operating Room experience is required.

ADN completion required

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Process Level Department Description: UNC Medical Center---Operating Room---Main OR has 32 bed suite offering all surgical specialties and is open 24-7 due to surgical trauma center.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-Call Required: 1-2 shifts of night call M-F (7p-7a)
Weekends Required: 1-2 weekend call shift per 6-week schedule (7a-7p)
Holidays Required: Must be able to work Labor Day if needed.

Required Skills/Experience: Higher scores in Neuro, ENT, and general surgery.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Vascular surgery or transplants would be helpful.

Required Credentials: Nursing Diploma or ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Credentials: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
