Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience:

2+ years of inpatient OR experience.
Scrub experience
Must be competent in at least 5 of the services listed: Surgical services- gen, gyn, gu, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pedi, trauma, spine

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro, vascular, and not only scrub general, GYN, GU.

Preferred Credentials: AHA preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: 36hr, D/N Rotation, 7a start time on Days, 7pm start time on Nights. Every 3rd weekend as needed. E/O holiday. 1 call shift per schedule period.

Floating Requirements: May float to Moakley OR as needed.
