Required Skills/Experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Amnioinfusion, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Medication & Administration, Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline, Neonatal Care in Delivery Room, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), ID/Security Banding, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Antepartum Care and Procedures, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Postpartum Care of the Patient with, Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery, Postpartum Care and Procedures, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Wound Assessment and Care, Pain Management, Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, IV conscious sedation, Nitrous Oxide, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Labor and Delivery, Newborn Care, Infant Identification, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation, Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Adult cardiac arrest, Infant / neonatal arrest, Telemetry Interpretation, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Scrub for C-Section, Anticoagulants, Antiseizure, Collect cord samples, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Cervical Cerclage, D & C, Tubal Ligation, Use of PCA (IV), Facility births/month 200-300, High Risk Antepartum

Required Credentials: Cert: AWHONN Beginner.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month.

Shift & Scheduling: Will take 3x12s or 4x12s. Weekend req: Every other. Is on-call req: 2-four hour blocks per 6 week schedule.
