Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

High School completion required

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiothoracic experience (CABG, Valve replacements, VATS, Robotic chest procedures, etc).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Operating Room experience.

• Previous Surgical Technologist experience.

Required Credentials:

•High School diploma or equivalent.

•NCCT – Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C). OR •Certified Surgical Technologist - NBSTSA - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Healthcareer Association.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Takes rotating call duty.

• Day Rotation (M-F) - 40/week 13 Weeks (typically starting at 6a-7a. 5, 8hr shifts or 4, 10hr shifts).

• Call Requirements: Up to 3 shifts of call per week, ranging from 8 to 16 hours. One working weekend per 4 weeks, with call shift following shift of work.
