Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requirements

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Please note: all candidates must be made aware of the urgency of the ohio fingerprinting process. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel.

Shift and scheduling: General time frame 0700-1730 or 0730-1800, with slight variation based on clinic needs.

Preferred skills/experience: Previous Charge Experience Preferred, Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred, First time travelers: Yes

Types of patients on the unit: Infants, Peds, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics

Unit details:

Rooms/Beds: 17 rooms

We treat the following cancer diagnosis at this facility:

Head and Neck Sarcoma CNS Thoracic All Peds GU

Procedures/ Diagnostics/ Treatments performed on unit: Pediatric Anesthesia, Non-diagnostic patient scoping (visually checking back of tongue and throat)

Previous Employment Requirements:

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
