Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

ASN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license

Vaccinations

Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: every other weekend. one winter / one summer holiday during their contract. no on call

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience required.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Prior HMH contingent workers strongly preferred.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: -ASN. -Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Required. -NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. -Tele Certification

CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: -BSN. -Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam REQUIRED.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: may be required to float to another like unit (ie med surg/ tele/ ED inpt holding area)
