Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.

Technology Used on Unit: EMR: Mindray Telemetry System

Special Requests: Block Schedule may be accommodated, as long as it doesn’t have to be the same days every week

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call required.

Floating Requirements: Required to float as needed, but Rarely. May occasionally float to ICU to take MS Overflow or Step Down patients.
