Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience within the past 4 years.
BSN completion required
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Must have cardiac drip experience (see below), NIH stoke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience.

RNs required to read and interpret: Will read and document every 6 hours.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

We will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnosis: CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CAD, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Pneumothorax, post cath lab patients- will not pull sheaths but would ideally have experience with TR bands and Fem stops.

Equipment Used on Unit: Currently using SpaceLab monitors, transitioning to Philips.

Special Requests: We do not do block scheduling.

We do allow for trades with peers.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Yes – travelers will fill in the needs.

Holiday Requirements: Yes – travelers fill in needs.

Floating Requirements: Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and MedSurg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System
