Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Nevada license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
NIHSS (Preferred)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have ICU experience. Need experience in similar size facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience.

Special Requests: Will consider block scheduling, but do NOT guarantee it.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
  • Holiday Requirement: One major and minor per season.
  • Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: We do place nurses or CNAs on call if census permits, and it is an extra shift or employee choice.

Floating Requirements: May be helping hands to LTC, ER, and OB.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
