Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Nurses Only (w/ compact license) - must complete a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention training during onboarding according to the WA state regulations.

36 hours guaranteed

Shift: Variable shift, based on dept needs. Heavily Nights/Eves.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Beds/trauma bays 55 beds total + 8-12 swing beds / 4 trauma bays

Ratios 4:1 for main ED, 5:1 for accelerated care (fast track), 2:1 for critical care

Common diagnoses/Types of patients STEMI, Stroke, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Respiratory Diseases, Behavioral Health

2+ years of experience (1+ years in a trauma center)

RNs read strips

RNs perform ECGs.

RTO Policy: May request up to 10 days off w/o hospital approval for clinical prescreening. Anything exceeding this amount of time, or that involves holidays, will need to be approved by the hospital
