Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on commination and responsiveness / Able to perform basic patient assessments, general care and maintenance of the following: Wounds, Tracheostomy, Ostomy, Drains, Chest Tubes, Strokes, Seizures. Only drip is Heparin /

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Will float over core staff

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
