Required skills and experience: Must have triage experience. Must be comfortable with conscious sedation. Will consider travelers from all Trauma levels. RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot- All Resp Equipment: NC, High Flow, Cpap, Bipap, Trachs, & Vents. Nurses are asked to read and interpret their own telemetry.
Preferred skills and experience: Critical Access Experience.
Shift & schedule requirements: Variable day or night shift, with attempted block scheduling. 6-6; No mid shifts. Schedule is made out by the manager; will typically make travelers schedules a block schedule of (6 on, 8 off. however, travelers are asked to stay flexible and help fill gaps in permanent schedule. Manager will work with travelers on schedule and is mindful not to make someone 1 on, 1 off.
Floating requirements: None; ED staff is part of Rapid Response team and 1 ED RN may be asked to respond to RRTs and Codes in house.
Unit and facility details: No designated triage nurse; either nurse in the dept can triage patients. Nurses can be asked to assist in managing any resp issues and equipment. HOUSING: Confirm the candidate has looked into housing in the area with the submittal. Leads available.
